CLEAR STAMPS

For you card makers, have you ever used a wooden stamp and thought you positioned it in the right spot only to find the phrase or character crooked? How frustrating. May I suggest you try the clear acrylic stamps. They are a stampers heaven. The clear stamps are not only more economical but also easier to store, easier to clean, and best of all you can SEE what you're doing.

So come on in and check them out. Oh and don't forget we have all day card make and take on Saturday November 22nd.

CHRISTMAS CONTEST

All you need to do is have your card stamped by each participating business (no purchase necessary) and drop off your bingo card at Jim's TV on the corner of 13th Street and 14th Ave. and you could win a 42" flat screen plasma HDTV. WHO IN THERE RIGHT MIND WOULDN'T WANT TO WIN A 42" FLAT SCREEN PLASMA HDTV.

Whats NEW!!!

Lately I've been etching glass. I can't believe how easy it is. All you need is liquid etching media and a stencil. The stencil should be made out of vinyl because it magically sticks to glass without glue. I cut a really cute bathtube using the "Cricut Expressions" but you can use anything to cut the vinyl. Lay the stencil on the item you want to etch, the vinyl will stick right to the glass, paint the etching liquid inside the stencil design, wait 1 minute and wash with cold water. Oh and don't forget to follow the safety directions. When you're done you have a beautiful professional looking etch on your glass item. Remember it's permanent so don't etch on something you'll regret.

FOOD DRIVE

This is the time of year when we should be thinking of others especially in these terrible economic times. More people than ever will be in need of warm cloths and food on the table. For the months of October and November anyone that brings in a can of food, for our locale Food Pantry, will receive free Halloween stickers. Bring in a "slightly" used winter coat and I'll give you a big hug!!!

This is just one of many sample cards I have available for you to make. Don't forget the Card Making Marathon Sunday November 2nd. It starts at 11:00 ends at 5:00 and for $35.00 you can make 15 BEAUTIFUL Christmas cards. Lunch is included. Call to reserve your spot. Must bring adhesive.
