Weddings

To date I have prepared at least 50 invitation creations and sold over 20. I do baby shower, bridal shower, anniversary and wedding invitations. So far this year I've completed 19 weddings and have 8 weddings booked for next year along with one golden anniversary. Out of the 20 customers I've only had one unhappy bride and I don't think anything could have made her happy.

My Cat

Yesterday I had to put my cat down. I call her my cat even though I didn't really want her to begin with. She came to us when my daughter was between jobs and needed a place for the cat to stay. She was with us for almost a year and I didn't have the heart to let the her go when my daughter moved to NY. Over the past five years she became such a big part of our lives and was fun to watch when she and our two dogs were playing. When I brought her to the vet yesterday I was very surprised how much she really ment to me and how having her in the house was such a comfort. She was always waiting for me at the door when I came home. She loved her small spoon full of ice cream as her night time snack and made me laugh when she got the night crazy's. I didn't realize how much I would miss her until I got home last night and she wasn't there. Be good to your pet everyone.

50th Anniversary Invitaions

Yesterday I met a wonderful couple who will be celebrating their 50th anniversary next June. They came in to order anniversary invitations. Actually they needed them for two parties. One a traditional dinner celebration and one for a pig roast. They loved all of my designs but that's not the most important part of the story. The couple was so much fun. The man had me in stitches with his jokes. I asked the woman what kept them together all these years and she said laughter and respect. Two simple words that have such powerful meaning. To bad young couples today don't get it.

Weddings

Wedding design has become a huge industry. Having your invitations especially designed for the bride and groom is the best way to set the tone of the wedding. They can be fun and funky or sophisticated and traditional. I create them just for you. I also prepare table numbers, placecards, ceremony programs, thank you's and can even create a unique centerpiece for your tables. You can stop in and see my work or if you can't get here all we need is a personal interview over the phone and I will prepare three samples for you to evaluate. We can write any verse or poem and change anything to your specifications. And of course if your not happy we understand. It's all about the couple and we encourage you to find exactly what you want to make your wedding a dream come true.

I'm still here

Sorry everyone I haven't been keeping up with the blog. I should however let everyone know what's been going on. I started a line of wedding invitations and also create unique invitations based on the individual brides request. I have made so many unique invitations you must come and see.

The experts say the invitation sets the tone of the wedding so the more creative the more fun, elegant, casual or over the top your wedding can be. I can do any color, any style, and just about any concept. I also do programs, thank you's, party favors, table numbers, placecards, and menu's; just about anything paper you can think of.

I've also geered up for the Holidays and am having a SALE October 3rd in honor of my birthday.

I also don't want people to forget it's important to shop local. Keep small business's open it's what keeps our communitees going.

There will be more so stay tuned.
